There is a good chance he can win. Maine is very liberal, but the Democrat nominee is a very far left, big government, union backed liberal and there are also 3 Independents running in the race.

I have never understood this. Maine is a very rural state. Seems to me that they should be fairly conservative, yet they are liberal. Why is this? Can someone explain this to me?
