It is a general pattern of liberals to mandate gold-plated benefits that people or employers (remember them?) cannot afford. They have hiked the minimum wage and created many ways for employees to sue their employers. The result is that only the government is creating jobs.
But, but, but, the god-king promised! /sarc.
I was going to say “unintended consequences”, but is it?
These are the results you have when you allow your politicians to vote on legislation that they have not read. We need a law that requires Congress to read the laws they vote on..
Any federal version of health care is unconstitutional since Article 1 Section 8 does not specifically list regulating health care as an enumerated power! People are not bound to comply with an unconstitutional act!
This needs to be repealed IMMEDIATELY after Nov. 10 elections.
There were no broad based open public hearings on the legislation, so this sort of thing simply isn't surprising.
The fact that Obamakkkare is starting out by canceling insurance on new borns and poor people first is probably a surprise to most Democrats, but not to Republicans.
After all, we expect nothing better than that out of our least capable citizens.
Let's see Jon Stewart whine about coverage for single-mom-of-three housekeepers now!
PWNED!
“We need a law that requires Congress to read the laws they vote on.”
Aloud and in session before voting on them!
But, but Obama said we could keep our insurance and our doctors too.
But....... if you like your plan, you can keep it.
sfl
Aloud and in session before voting on them!
And on C-span!
All you can afford is a Hyundai, tough sh*t I’m mandating Cadillacs. Yours truly Fedzilla.
looks like the (stuff) will be hitting the Obamacare fan just in time for November. Excellent!!
I’ve got two more.
In plain English, and between the hours of 9:00A and 6:00P EDT. Not at 3:00A in the morning!
They can have (modified as necessary) the following script from me for free:
Earlier this year, an overwhelming majority of the American people told President Obama, Nancy Pelosi, [local candidate(s)], and the rest of the Democrat Congress "no" to the government takeover of health insurance.Every Republican stood with the people, voting against the takeover. But the Democrats pushed ahead anyway, telling us that they had to pass the bill to find out what was in it.
They passed the bill, and now we're starting to find out what was in it.
One of those things all of us are finding out is that 1 million people - lower income people the plan was allegedly supposed to help - will lose their insurance under the new rules. And they'll lose it now, four years before they're eligible for the new government-sponsored plans.
It's time for the Democrats to understand that "no" means "no". Vote for [local candidate(s)], who will work to repeal the government takeover and instead work to pass measures designed to put health insurance back into the hands of the people who need it.
Until your employer drops it. Hey, Obama can't be expected to take care of every little undercapitalized business.
No problem. In fact, it’s part of the plan. Just add them to the government insurance plan.
