With little fanfare, the U.S. Cyber Command (CYBERCOM) has officially begun operation this week. The entity is a collection of personnel from the National Security Agency (NSA), Army, Navy, Marine, Air Force and policy makers (read that politicians). The stated purpose is to protect the vital interests of the United States in relation to the Internet. The entity is not just defensive in nature but can also engage in preemptive “strikes” intended to disrupt threats. Because this was an internal reorganization within the Department of Defense, the creation of CYBERCOM did not require congressional approval.

From the link.

Little known fact...there is a second, seperate, significantly larger net that is operated by the government. It is essentially what they were building before the public was given access. They do not use the network upon which you and I communicate.

The govt. keeps taking more and more of our liberties, and we aren't doing anything to stop it.

My congressman & Senator are worthless.

Reichert (rino) voted FOR cap & tax. He just wants to get along, doncha know.

Murray is a lost cause. Totally liberal and dumber than dirt.

Sure, I can call or write to complain as I've done before, but I'll be ignored just as I was before.

Our “elected” representatives don't give a flying bleep what WE want or don't want. They won the election they ran for, so we are just annoyances to them now.

Is it really possible for the entire internet to be taken over by some people in one room? It’s called the WORLD WIDE WEB. That’s a lot of “tubes” for a small amount of people to plug up.
