Helen was fun when she was being her plain ol' liberal gasbag self, but now that she's out of the Jew-hater closet, not so much. She got what she deserved, namely, the punishment of losing her platform. Her statement could not have been allowed to stand.
I did not believe her apology. What she said came forth from a lifetime of bearing that attitude, that kind of heart.
