I agree. If it is a joke it sucks on the humor part. In fact as much as I want to wrap my mind around the humor it just doesn’t fit.
So if this is supposed to be humor they could have done a much better job.
I don’t believe that the conversation would have been in English. Much like the signs written in English around supposed cruise missile strikes.

I don’t believe that the conversation would have been in English. Most international aviation and maritime radio traffic is in English. If you are a French pilot, landing in Spain, you speak to ATC in English.
