Most of the online sites and print venues have declined to publish anything that deals with this inflammable subject. Why such reluctance? One editor explained that they are wary of falling into a trap in which, having printed an article disputing the president's bona fides, the documents attesting to his authenticity are suddenly sprung on them, leaving them with egg on their faces and strengthening the president's authority. This is an unlikely hypothesis.

Gag orders are to keep adverse information from coming out.
Adverse info in this case COULD be statements like
“oh, yes, that skinny little nephew of mine, I held him when he was just 2 weeks old; who woulda thought that when he was all grown up, he’d become Pres__ent of the US! I’m mighty proud of him”
Or
“We’re putting up a commemorative plaque in our village that says ‘0 was born here’; we’d like to raise money for it”
If 0 WAS born there, why would the Gov’t be embarrassed about it to the point of booting out an investigator and slapping a gag order on 0’s folks there?
If he WASN’T born there, maybe thats why they showed Corsi the door and told 0’s folks not to say anything?

I went and read those two WND Corsi links and related info, it seems that Corsi was digging into 0’s support of a candidate/head of gov’t there... I can see why Kenya gov’t folks would be upset at that.

Obama’s step grandma, Mama Sarah Obama, said almost exactly what you suggest earlier this year when she was given an honorary Ph.D for caring for orphans in her village:

If I took a long term view when obama was elected, I would recognize the enthusiasm for and historical nature of his election and admit it would be foolish to waste my best ammo on someone who is temporarily invincible, in spite of the righteousness of my Constitutional cause. That would be a time of planning, not action.
I would also recognize the extreme radicalism of obama and the demonrats and know they would not be able to stop themselves from doing things that would shock and abhor a majority of Americans. And...
Given that obama's persona and resume are fictional creations and he appears to be poster boy for NPD, it is merely a matter of time before Americans realize they've been deceived by the state run media and the demonrat party and openly begin to wonder what else they've been told about obama are lies.
When conditions are right, what was once impossible becomes possible and even those who once supported him will be birthers. obama could very well be the stake through the heart of progressivism.
But, first those conservative radio talking heads must do the job the media won't do and report on obama and what he and the progressives are doing to the country. They are doing their part to help events and opinion take shape.
How slowly the fuse burns and then how suddenly it all blows up.
To me it really is straightforward. Patriots defend the **entire** Constitution all the time, even those little itty bitty phrases like “natural born”.
If Rush Limbaugh, and the rest, can't do that in the face of a little ridicule, I really have no confidence he and the others will do it when facing tanks in the streets, firing squads with open trenches to catch the dead, jack boots marching on May Day, or when the cattle cars are being loaded up.

That's why I'm starting to think that the eligibility issue may never be allowed to be resolved. If it looks like eligibility is going to explode, Obama will be induced to resign or otherwise removed from the scene and the whole eligibility issue will be declared moot, time to more on, etc., etc. There are just too many of the rich and powerful who vouched for Obama.

Assistant U.S. Attorneys Roger West and David DeJute basically argued that objections to Barry’s eligibility
should have been argued prior to the election and the Electoral College vote.
I understand that plaintiffs who tried to file suit beforehand were told to wait until after the election was certified.
If George Bush had used AUSAs from John Ashcroft’s DOJ to continue the birth certificate cover up-the Democrats and the media would have gone berserk.
I expect the Democrats and the media to defend Barry’s foul behavior,
it’s disappointing that so many on the right are either afraid to speak about the issue or ignorant of the basic facts.

I agree. This will be the first elected President that will be a lame duck in his first year holding the position. The heads are falling daily, people are quitting in numbers from his administration or refusing to serve. Newspapers continue to fail, reporters to get fired, TV anchors to lose following, reporters forced out of the front row of the White House newsroom, like I said, unprecidented. The Good Old Boy network, is running like rats for cover, and I don’t mean the Republican party (GOP). Democrats will not vote on spending measures for fear of their jobs. Its too late, November is a day of cleansing. And if we can’t take the head of the snake out, we will remove his fangs, and leave nothing to support him. Eventually, we will replace those that help him to hide, and force him to resign, or prove he is qualified to lead. Personally, I don’t think, at this point, that he has the integrity that allows him to admit he lied. I think he would rather die, and I think there are those who would facilitate that end, should he decide to be more forthright in his own party. In the end, it is my hope that he is discovered for what he is, good or bad, by his hand, or others, that when he is no longer valid, whether as President, or after he is gone, that they repeal health care, let companies that cannot support themselves fail, and pay back what monies that have not been spent, take the loss and deficit to our treasuries as a difficult and expensive lesson, that we were asleep at the wheel, and trusted a bunch of people who we should not have trusted. I think alot of people need to go to jail, but if that does not happen, they should never work for the people again, and should lose all accrued benefits. In a perfect world. Reid, and Pelosi, should have to survive on Medicare and Social Security, and contemplate getting prescription drugs from out of the country, because their lives depended on those drugs, and they finally realize that the government they created, does not give a sh!t about them...Maybe, they need to live and die by what they created for others, with no realization that they had to live that way too. My first choice is Jail, and not white collar jail either...Hope I don’t seem too unkind...

I clearly remember, June or July of 2008, reading all the BS about his birth certificate. I remember thinking McCain thought he had it in the bag and wanted the NBC issue closed.
