dont adopt your linguini-spined, whimpering, weakling, whining, oh woe is me, roll over and take it, piss-poor defeatist attitude. I have no such attitude. I do believe that if you're going to go after the King, you should make sure you get him. This isn't going to do that. This is Politics As Usual. It's sleazy, it's against the law, it's all kinds of things, but it isn't Impeachment Serious. If you think it is, you're smoking rope. The quickest way to get Obama's approval ratings back up over 50% is to go after him with charges that the public doesn't think are serious. That's what happened with Clinton. Heck, we had the guy on perjury. But the more the R's went after him, the higher he rose in the polls. We don't need another one of those. Look: Obama is destroying himself. Every day he alienates another slice of his coalition. When your opponent is self-destructing, leave him to do it. |
Normally I would agree with this, but I don't want this enemy to destroy us along with himself.
Considering the idiots who voted him into office, though I suspect that little short of destruction would open their eyes. Too many of them seem to think feeeeel their own blindness is a badge of virtue.
You make good points. But I still hope somebody has the guts on our side to make a big stink about this, is only to get the electorate informed. I think truth is our most powerful weapon, even if it often falls on deaf ears.
