Agreed.

I would argue that there needs to be a comprehensive study that looks at the correlation of mothers with auto-immune disease and Autism. Then find out of there’s an increasing incidence of auto-immune diseases and why.

Until very recently autism was attributed to poor maternal influence during childhood. It was called “frigid mother syndrome.” It’s not PC to criticize mothers now, even ones that use their status as single parents as an excuse for personal failure.

Autism is such a broad cross segmant of symptoms that it’s not even possible to come up with a definitive test. Getting a child designated autistic has become a goal of many people so they can have more time on tests and garner pitty from other parents who don’t realize that the diagnosis is BS.
