Half the Country either out of work, or underemployed, North Korea threatening war at any time, Iran on the verge of a nuke, wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the Gulf filling up with oil, but what does 0bamao fret about - a baseball game!

............And Barry Bonds cheating should expunge his home run record if they were to go down the road of correcting ‘wrongs’.Whites are underrepresented (by general population percentages)in the NBA.Does Barry think whites should get 3 free throws when they are fouled to even things up. The Tiger pitcher is Hispanic, this is a veiled political
sop to illegal immigrants and their supporters/voters.

Hey, he’s the multirational President. He can rationalize more than one mistake at a time.

Any truth to the rumor that Obama will fly to Louisiana tomorrow to take a picture with a flock of oily geese and then on to Detroit to take a picture with Armando?

He came up through Chicago’s farm team.
And IIRC, Fidel through the Dodgers.
Can’t wait to see Fannie and Freddie’s farm team.

My dad was at that game. He was really ticked off, but not nearly as much as Woody.

of COURSE Obama cannot go 24 hrs. without chiming in on this one! (gotta play up the “Hispanic getting cheated, and there’s no one whiter than that umpire or Bud Selig” angle here)

The only mistake that needs to be reversed is the election of 2008!

It's none of the freakin' White House's business. But what do you expect from this hard left regime that has no respect for the rule of law or precedent? Yes, if they took over the banks, GM, and Chrysler, they think they can run baseball too. And with a leftist nitwit like Selig (who gives political contributions to the likes of Chris Dodd) in charge of the latter, there's little doubt that they will.

Kind of reminds me of the old USSR, where the government was prone to fix sporting events within the country..

It's obvious that the Obama White House doesn't like it because some foreign Hispanic player was "deprived" of a perfect game by a bad call by a white male American umpire. You have to do anything you can to reverse "racism" or political incorrectness, you see.
