What’s the difference? “Real” newspapers like the NYTimes and the WaPo have devolved into propaganda organs for the left. And then the National Enquirer broke the John Edwards story.
I view foreign newspapers as usually more credible than our domestic ones. Refreshingly, they generally don’t buy into this myth that a newspaper can or should be unbiased. So you have newspapers that are openly left wing, center, right wing, etc.
