Satan believes if he can destroy the Jews before they turn to him and cry out for him he can still win this thing. Therefore, he has been trying to utterly wipe them out since Christ died on the cross.

satan started long before Christ. He’s been trying to wipe them out since time immemorial. Way back in Gen 6, I guess you could go back that far, before there ever was a nation of Israel, per se, when the idea of a chosen line in our time dimension was just a glimmer on the horizon.
