(June 2) -- Paul McCartney is a man known for his words, usually when they're set to music. But he chose some special ones at the Library of Congress to praise President Barack Obama, before whom he will soon be performing: Let him be.
"I have to say I'm a big fan, he's a great guy," McCartney said at a Washington news conference Tuesday that was attended by politicians as well as journalists. "So lay off him, he's doing great."
...
Perhaps as an example of his global concerns, McCartney called the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico "a disgrace."
"I think most of us think it's a disgrace, and the fact that something like this can happen" is something that is "going to be addressed," he said.

Oh Paul ... BP is a BRITISH COMPANY!
BP has NOTHING to do with MEXICO!
British Petroleum (BP) is a UK company.
BP plc[2] is a British global energy company which is the third largest energy company and the fourth largest company in the world. As a multinational oil company ("oil major") BP is the UK's largest corporation, with its headquarters in St James's, City of Westminster, London.

You got that right!
I'd rather fire him outright, but I think we could compromise on a layoff...

Plus they specifically wrote "Tax Man" because england had a 95% marginal tax rate. "One part for you nineteen for me."
In addition, though Paul spoke a few years ago about how the rich could afford higher taxes, in the late 90's he had an elite team of lawyers arranging his dying wife's estate to avoid paying millions in taxes.
Hypocrisy that knows no bounds!
There is a veritable cottage industry in the UK assisting high-income celebrity types to relocate to more tax-friendly environs. That's why you have people like Roger Moore (Switzerland) and Mick Jagger (Jamaica) looking to bail out of the "motherland".
You're not on it.
Oh....and neither is your buddy Obama.
Hey Paul. You with the great judge of character. Sooo . . . how is your X wife PEG doing? Oh, and how is your money doing?
It’s also been reported that he dedicates “Michelle” to the First Linebacker when he performs it.
Yeah, tell me about it. Red Ted Kennedy fought against ending the inheritance tax. How much of HIS estate went to the IRS?
He’s going to throw up a little when he does that...
I understand that when they were big rockers in the 60s they were on a perpetual course of antibiotics to control the STDs.
Advice from a man who couldn’t see through the mask of a one legged gold-digging bimbo flake? I do’t think so.
O'Biden says one thing does another, must be McCarneys agenda too..
Hey, leave Gimpy McGolddigger outta this.
When I look at your home country -- an empire laid waste by bad ideas and incompetent leadership;
(bye-the-bye "multicuturalism" having provided excellent camouflage for the Islamicization of Londonistan...)
I am not surprised that England is circling the drain faster -- and lower than ever before....
---AND---
I am not surprised that you would admire and support The Arrogant Bastard -- who seeks only to destroy our way of life in similar fashion.
Play your fine music....
Stay out of politics...
Mind your own beeswax ---
Silly Beatle...
If I emptied my iTouch of all the singers who swung to the left, I’d be listening to Pat Boone’s Greatest Hits! I prefer to ignore them...but I sure wish they’d come down to reality and STFU!
So is the aging Beatle going to be paying our confiscatory taxes next year with his wealth?
If not, he needs to shut up & sing.
Eurotrash foreigners who hate America love Obama. What does that tell us?
Just another example of how Knighthood has degenerated under the Windsors.
STD was VD back in the day. Just sayin’. Freegards,
