Again I ask you,
Which part of the story is untrue?
Israel attacked a ship in international waters?
Israel shot and killed ten people because they had knives?
Israel didn’t think a boat of people would defend themselves vs. heavily armed gunmen raining down on them?
At the very least Israel was stupid to make this raid. It could not have ended well.
This was a naval blockade of the Gaza. It is perfectly legal to intercept ships in international waters when it for the purpose of enforcing a legal blockade.
