The district voted for McCain over Obama, 61% to 38%. Griffith, as a DEM, only won by 3 points in 2008 so he saw the handwriting on the wall.

The AL governor’s race on the GOP side is going to a run off (July 13). James, Byrne and Bentley all have around 25%. Seven Republicans in all are running. Judge Roy Moore (10 Commandments judge) is running 4th with 19%.

54% of the vote in.

Parker Griffith is defeated and rightfully so. Good riddance, the RINOs and DEMONcrats have to go!
