Yeah I get it. It’s always management who is trying to collect some big bonus and look good. I don’t blame the workers at all unless they drink on the job. Just like I don’t blame working people in general anywhere in the world, it’s governments that are out of control.

If I were running the show, I’d open this particular discovery to drilling production immediately, it’s a frigg’in motherload. The only caveat would be if you don’t follow proper procedures along with safety precautions, you get a bullet to the back of your head.
Unlike the rest of the producing wells in the gulf (How many?) this catastrophe would have never reached this level without some stupid head(s) running the show.
Wouldn’t surprise me to find out management cut the hydraulic pressure to the BOP so the panic button wouldn’t work. That’s how stupid heads think.
