I’ve missed everything since the saw stalled the other night.
I heard they got shears.
Did they use the CLAW or something different?
Are they trying to tie on the LMRP or something different?

they used the hydraulic shear to cut the riser above the flange
then some saw work to try and smooth up the end
now they’re bringing in the cap structure
After the Diamond cut failed, the side pressure from the saw cut caused the LMRP to start tilting even more than it was. They brought in CLAW to Shear the riser off right below the bend. The releaved some of the tilt, and they have spent the rest of today trying to smooth the cut and prepare the stack for the cap. Now they are moving the cap into position and praying like mad.
The pointy thingys are engineered cable snags, apparently.

They made the cut with the same CRAW as the riser. They are putting the top hat on now (hopefully).
