French admit they are racist

One in seven French people admit to being racist and many have prejudicial views of immigrants, homosexuals, blacks, Arab and Jews, according to a survey released on Sunday.

A poll by the BVA institute for two anti-discrimination groups found, for example, that 30 per cent of the French agree with the idea that Jews have more influence on finance and the media than other groups.

Almost as many, 28 per cent, think that Arabs are more likely to commit crimes than members of other ethnic groups, a number that has more than doubled since a similar poll was conducted last year.

A significant minority of the French, 15 per cent, admit to being "rather or a bit racist", up one per cent on the previous study.

Almost half of respondents, 49 per cent, thought that immigrants are better able to exploit the social welfare system than are the native French, and 12 per cent said homosexuals were more obsessed by sex than others.

It should be easy enough to verify or disprove those theories statistically. If they prove out, are the French then "racist" or just accurate?

If we stick to facts, rather than what is politically correct, the majority of French are correct in their assessment. It seems that whenever the facts show the negative side of a particular group, ethnicity, race, or nationality it is labeled racist.

The population of French prisons is about 90% Muslims. So yes, Arabs are quite more likely to commit crimes than Caucasian French. Case closed.

Actually, a friend of mine who lives in Paris sent this video to me yesterday and said it's the biggest hit with their internet. I guess if a man asks you out in Paris-- you'd better say yes! Or would that be oui?

you are just supposed to accept that Arabs don’t commit a disproportional amount of crime in France.

I’m sure they do, but socialist governments seem to redefine crime when it is Islamists commiting it. We have become enablers for these terroists. Just look at the recent attacks by Israelis on the “humanitarian” ships. It was a provocation at best, and the world rallies to defend the terrorists. This must end.

It seems to me that 72% of French are racist in that they think that the Beurs should not be counted when they commit crimes.
