Sestak says White House has contacted his brother over job-offer allegation
Washington Post ^ | May 27 2010 | Paul Kane

Rep. Joe Sestak (D-Pa.) said Thursday that his brother has spoken with White House officials about the congressman's allegation that he was offered an Obama administration job if he would stay out of a Democratic Senate primary.

Sestak ran in, and won, that primary, defeating the White House's preferred candidate, Sen. Arlen Specter.

He told reporters Thursday that he would not expand upon his prior statements until the White House releases its report on the matter. President Obama said in his news conference that such a report would come "shortly."

Richard Sestak, the congressman's brother, who has served as his top political adviser and campaign lawyer, spoke with administration officials Wednesday, Joe Sestak said.

"They got a hold of my brother on his cell phone, and he spoke to the White House . . . about what's going to occur," said Sestak, who said he expects the White House will release its information Friday. He declined to elaborate on his discussions with Richard.

Washington is full of imbeciles.....IT’S ALWAYS THE COVERUP IDIOTS.

The only reason BillyBob's coverup didn't work was because some 20 year old girl of easy virtue wanted to save some DNA.Nothing of that magnitude will happen in this case and therefore *this* coverup will work beautifully.

Some people need to be put under oath.

Yah...as if *that* would change anything.

Do you really think Rahm is going to go to PRISON for Zero?

He DOES hold dual passports Israel and U.S. Why was he in Israel kissing up to Bebe?

Haha its more like, Rahm has a US passport to stay out of jail in Israel, he is not popular there. The historical rule of thumb is... White House aides never implicate the President.... you can’t get a last minute pardon from someone who’s already been impeached (that this didn’t happen during Watergate adds to my suspicion that Nixon was framed).

On Morning Joe the other day, they played a clip of Scarborough asking Stestak months ago if he was offered SecNav and Sestak said yes. So his backtracking to simply “a high level job” won’t fly.

"What does this tell us about his respect for the rule of law...and what does this tell us about how he will respect the rule of law while serving in the Senate (if elected, God forbid)?"

He's already in the US House, and he votes with the left. That should tell you all you need to know about his respect for the US Constitution.

Although my friend who knows Sestak's family considers him to be a very honest man, I also have a hard time seeing him that way. I don't think he won his current seat honorably.

Interesting point of view. If the ballet dancer is thinking along those lines, perhaps he should take a closer look at what he and his buddies are doing to the security of Israel. Much as I'd hate to see harm come to Israel, the vision of the ballerina with an Iranian missile up his backside is admittedly amusing.

They called to offer him a job if he’d keep his mouth shut about the bribery.

Just wait until November.

If the GOP takes back the majority in the House, it will have the power to subpoena witnesses in this case (and others) and force them to testify before the appropriate committees.

there hasn’t been a single suspicious death of anyone associated with the President

Donald Young, Larry Bland and Nate Spencer. All homosexuals at Obama's church in Chicago...all murder within 40 days of each other beginning in November 2007, all shot execution style.

Takes care of the rumor spin.

But then he would be a dead man. Politically and perhaps literally. (Although these are not the Clintons!)

Good God...NO! Nobody's going to prison here. This won't come close to rising to the level of Watergate...or even Stained Dress-gate.Why? Because The Slimes,The Compost and K-K-K-Katy simply won't allow it.

Besides looking like a smarmy ars*hole with a vapid, tenative smile, Sestak appears a bit simple—slow on the uptake.

So we have Stupidpak in MI and Simplepak in PA. Hope Toomey pulls it off. Although I don’t know much about him- just better than a leftist useful idiot.
