she had just ordered his murder ... look at who Clinton has pardoned .... I can't wait to se Obama's list
.
I’ve never thought I was better but I don’t watch much TV at all. Mostly it stays on news and plays in the background. I do too many other things that take my eyes looking at what I’m doing rather than staring at the TV. I mostly have no idea who anyone who is on TV looks like but I can identify their voice. :)
1: Jack kills Russian president.
2: Chloe kills Jack.
3: Mushroom cloud engulfs Moscow during press conference courtesy of that arab woman.
Now that's 24.
In me house we affectionately called 24 “The Jack Bauer Power Hour”.....In turn, we also refer to the Ghost Whisperer as “The Boob Whisperer”....
However many it was, the number quadrupled in the final 6 episodes this season.
Same here. I have no idea where I could have found it on the TV. AFAIK, I never saw a second of “24”...
Logan had to kill him. The aide told Logan that it was all over and there was no need to add Bauer's murder to the list of charges against them. Logan could not risk that his aide might move to save Bauer. By killing the aide and then himself President Logan sought to ensure that Bauer would be killed.
Overall, a good ending. I'm impressed that the creators managed to change course and rescue a very weak season about midway through and deliver a compelling third act.
random thoughts lets ee
good the show was so pathetic, one man saving the country and taking out how many in one day
same here
the man saving the country , got shot how many times, killed how many, got past all sorts of top security and all in 24 hours
So, if she got it in before she resigned it would hold and if she then was found guilty of the crimes she committed, the pardon would hold? Thanks for answering, just something I’m not familiar with and love learning.
The aide was an evil, cocky puke. He needed shooting. Logan didn’t die - he’s just going to be a vegetable. I wish they’d shown Taylor in handcuffs. She was willing to let hundreds of thousands of Americans be killed by a nuke rather than give up her treaty.
This was an excellent season.
Chloe.....Jack’s guardian angel up in the sky, a winking white glow (with a high-powered camera, uplink and two Hellfire missiles)...... protecting him just as he protected America so many times at the severest personal costs.
What a fitting ending..........”Shut it down” and Jack begins to turn aside as he fades to pixels. Perfect.
Jack told Chloe “Thank you”, and maybe Sutherland was saying “Thank you” to his audience, too?
Justified is pretty good, but it’s not in the same class as 24, not yet anyway. Breaking Bad is excellent.
I’m just about out of shows now. I still have Breaking Bad, at least for a couple more weeks, and Masterpiece Theater/Mystery/Contemporary/Classic. Sopranos.....gone. Da Vinci’s Inquest and Da Vinci’s City Hall..... both gone. Midsomer Murders.....gone. Cadfael......gone. 24......gone.
*SIGH*
This is the one piece of the monarchy retained by the Founding Fathers and IMHO is the essential escape clause for a system run amok or faced with a unique set of circumstances where mercy, leniency, or clemency is warranted but not provided for by law. It can be and has been abused, most notably by Clinton (although The One is sure to eclipse that stain), and may need rethinking.
Well, at least it actually had an ending, unlike “Lost”.
Thank you!
If you are Jack Bauer, Press One.
bleeet
Dammit! There isn't time!
Blam!
Blam blam!
Blam--racketyracketyrackety-blamblamblam!
"The Russians will be after you--shut it down."
Thank you. . .
In a town where politicians are motivated solely by self-interest and power, one patriot with a back pack and no discernible political correctness strives to make a difference.
AWESOME!!
