A Jordanian man has been charged with rape and the death of his daughter through a forced abortion.
The man allegedly performed the abortion five months after his daughter fell pregnant after rape, which he is also alleged to have committed.
Police have said he personally carried out the abortion that killed her.
They reported that the 19-year-old woman died on Sunday of severe internal bleeding when the father supposedly attempted to hide his crime.
Police have claimed the 46-year-old suspect quickly confessed and said he had been having sex with his daughter for the past five years.
The man faces the death penalty if convicted.
Nothing good can come from a Muslim and a box cutter. This idiot was just following Islamic law, which calls for the honor killing of any female who brings “shame” upon the family. Never mind the fact that it is HE who caused the shame.
