Interesting that the necks are dimpled, not crimped. Never saw that before.
BTW This is what I recommend for a varmit pistol
Shoots flat at 75 yards
Just what you need for riding fenceline
None of the stuff I have ever shot is dimpled.
I think thats a pic of some bulgarian surplus
Cya 50. Rest well
I have some old turkish 8mm mauser that is dimpled.
Stuff was made in 1947 and works like a hose.
The problem with the dimple crimp is it results in occasionally split cases.
Good Run,,,, Me,?,, not Much fun ,,,Moveing to the Country,,,,

Ahh these aholes keep stopping me from hotlinking pictures.
Gnight FRiend.
The ol 8mm mauser used to be plentiful.
Hella round.
Yeah looks Good ,
Me,,? store bought Now.
Stockin’ up for the Comein’ Party.
Just finished shooting the first 1000 rounds out of my CZ-52. Just a couple of hundred rounds from having to crack open the next can of Romanian. Fun, fun, fun.
I think the 8mm mauser was a superior platform, but ta had to love Vasily. He figured out that the puppet masters were crap

They are a hoot!
and the Romanian ammo is the BEST IMHO
I've had one little glitch. The take down latch/hold open pin fell out. I replaced it and the catch with one from Gun Parts Warehouse that uses a nyloc nut. As a side benefit all of my magazines hold open the slide on empty.
Sometime my slide doesnt hold back on the last shot.
That is a peculiar issue

Thanks Scott! We were considering the XDM 40 sub too. But the carry weight is 26 oz empty and the G27 is 26.98 oz fully loaded. We are headed out to the range to try the G27 now. The other advantage is Glocks work with a Clip Draw.
