the tag “(Experts? Really?)” is perfect...says it all.
one of the biggest differences between left and right is that the right understands that substance is critically important while the left thinks that image trumps substance.
there are key-words that the left uses that have been very effective in building the image...’children’, ‘scientists say’, ‘experts say’, etc.

You raise an excellent point, mreerm, by pointing out the absurd credibility that the MSM and leftist cohorts confer on supposed ‘experts’. Witness headlines that spew out the latest ‘study’ results. Often, a ten year old could find the flaws in the line of ‘scientific inquiry’ pursued.
Seems to me that loads of people have looked on the ramblings of these so-called experts with a raised eyebrow. At this point, most have figured that it is more dangerous and devious than previously imagined. So now they speak out louder. Thank goodness!
