Yes, I knew that and still wonder how it was that so many on our side spent so much time bashing President Bush and giving our enemies a pass. And by enemies I mean the leftists in congress.
A serious investigation needs to be done to see if these three shorted Exxon-Mobil during this time and afterwards.
Thanks to all the jerks who voted for these people.
And that, from 2008, is how we got here in 2010. In an era where the nations of the world are competing ferociously for resources, the usual suspects lead the American retreat. And that one simple letter from three dangerous senators weakened Americas energy and economic security and strengthened Chinas by equal measure for twenty years and probably many more.
China, you see, is now in in Iraq. Chinas in in a lot of places, taking advantage of American weakness borne of an American self-imposed taboo status of oil and the vilification of the American oil industry itself.
If there are concerns with the safety, operation and oversight of American and British rigs in the Gulf of Mexico, what level of environmental comfort is to be drawn when the newest rigs drilling there are stamped Made in China?
With all of that in mind, be sure to thank Senators Kerry, Schumer, and McCaskill for weakening American economic and energy security while strengthening Chinas for the next several decades. For them, the withdrawal from Iraq was about much more than troop levels.
sfl
I wonder what their portfolios looked like back then?
Mob mentality?
There were times that I thought a little support/push would have been timely in developing a better, clearer course of action.
End of article: “....With all of that in mind, be sure to thank Senators Kerry, Schumer, and McCaskill for weakening American economic and energy security while strengthening Chinas for the next several decades.”
There they are doin’ it again. So typical of the Leftist mentality, or actually lack of..., thus the typical unintended consequences (Perhaps) caused by NOT THINKING BEYOND an emotion.
Leftists are idiots.
And these Leftists are laughing all the way to the bank. Kerry also got one of his relatives a sweetheart port deal in Vietnam — Marxists might as well make money for each other, right!
nothing new here, move it along...
And dumber than dirt GW Bush & his sidekick Condi Rice went along with it. More stupidity & ineptness on Bush's part. The demoRATs made mincemeat out of GW Bush & the Repubs for 8 years, when we could have and should have had the demoRATs on the ropes at every turn. Instead they had their way with spineless GW Bush & spineless GOP congress.

Exactly...the real problem was that Bush and Rice went along with it. The problem with Bush and many in his admin is that they are all Liberal Globalists who will scrue America over to help a foreign nation. Kerry, Bush, Gore, McCain, Clinton, Cheney....all of them are Liberal Globalists who think World First...not America First
They did it for Climate Change Scam, and plan for bigger fish.
And wasn’t this trio amongst those anti-war and anti-Bush bunch who said this war was for oil? Guess they must have meant oil for China.
WEll, someone had to broker the deal to allow the Libtard Socialists to spend even more borrowed money by getting the Chinese to buy more US debt.
