Let me translate that for you. “If talking tough boosts my approval, even though I have not right nor power to effect any change, then I’ll gladly do it!”

You obviously missed the point. Let me translate it for you.

"If you hypocrite politicians in LA city government want to grandstand about boycotting Arizona businesses, then be consistent. Tell your city owned utility, the LA Department of Water and Power (LADWP) to stop buying Arizona generated electricity. If you do that, I promise not to stand in the way of Arizona utilities releasing LADWP from their contractual power purchase obligations.

|The guy never said a word about cutting off power to LA. He is however, rubbing the slime LA politicians nose in the dirt for their blatant hypocrisy knowing full well that they won't stop buying millions of KWh of Arizona electricity every day.
