Just heard on Fox that Rand Paul won in Ky.
And I hope that Senator Paul will feel an honorable debt of gratitude towards Governor Palin, because he certainly owes her.
Yep. She knocked the personhood pro-life, peace through strength, constitutionalist, moral conservative Reaganite Bill Johnson out of the race, in favor of the pro-choice for states, isolationist, Libertarian. Congratulations.
They must be shocked seeing their “bipartisan” candidates picked off by the conservatives. We have been too compliant with no agenda items of small, sovereign government reform for way too long. We got stuck on small - but important - gun rights and abortion. I hope, even if we win some good candidates, we will stay on top of things. It is not enough to just say no to everything. We have to have our own agenda and activists to push on our conservative/libertarian organizations and elected officials.
THANK YOU, ALEX JONES! < /S >
How do you know that Alex Jones supported Rand? Been hanging out over there in kookville? Are you a closet Jonesie? Oh Noes! ;)
Alex Jones is a real piece of work.
We could use 99 other US Senators just like him!
Let’s not go overboard. We need someone who will defend the country from invasion and the health nazis. :)
I know people here don’t like Ron Paul. I like his influence on the Congress and I am glad we have another smart one like him. Neither men go along to get along and we need some steady wind blowing against the Rino’s pup tent.
I am a member of the Tea Party in Ky and I know of NO endorsement of any candidate. Having met him I was not impressed with Paul. He has a large ego and is very rude
Sorry to enlighten you on your own misgivings — Its called projecting one’s fault onto another.
In other words, I’m not impressed by endorsements.
I am, therefore I think -— For Myself.
Get it?
Well, being Kentucky born...(Lexington), and a supporter of free America, I would think that you would also like the ideals of Rand Paul - regardless of his other ideas. He is for less government, less spending, and overall less intrusions into private lives.
Just what is it that you don’t agree with him about? Just who else espouses those ideals?
Bill Johnson is a solid conservative and a class act.
I'll abstain from comment upon some of his "sour grapes" supporters.
Just stating the facts about what happened. Again, congratulations.
There is nothing I like about him. First of all as far as I know he is the only one claiming to be supported by the Tea Party. I have been to many Tea Parties and I know of no endorsment of Paul by any of them !! So does that mean he is a lier ????
You do seem to have private problems with Rand Paul and that is your option. I am also a member of the Corpus Christi Tea Party and we were for Rand Paul. I don’t exactly know what your problems are with him, but maybe you are placing the sins of the father on the son.
I really don’t support Ron Paul, but do support Rand Paul. Now, I understand that there may be little difference between them, except that Rand does abide by a bit different platform. Now that may be just for election, or he may be actually different than his father. We will soon find out - won’t we?
Until then, I will take him at his word and that is supportable by the Texas Tea Party... You in Kentucky ought to reconsider your ideals if you are opposed to him.

Thank you. I’m glad that the best candidate won today; I wish Bill Johnson well in his future endeavors. A gubernatorial race, perhaps.
Many, many FReepers are frowning, gnashing their teeth and tearing what is left of their hair out over this.
