Well, if it’s any consolation, the PA 12 is targeted for extinction in 2012. PA will lose a seat after the 2010 census and it has been reported that PA 12, as crazy as it is configured, would be the easiest one to incorporate into neighboring districts.

I can’t recall where I learned that - PA 12 gone. It was a while ago. Do a google search (PA congressional district 12 census) or something like that and you’ll probably come up with the info.
