One other factor is that this guy ran as a conservative, very conservative. My own sister was buying into a Dem preaching conservative values in VA. I guess it's hard for everyone to be as cynical as you need to be with these frauds.

When Critz ads came on touting his supposedly pro-life, pro-gun views, I was wishing Burns would have returned fire with pics of Stupak, Blanche Lincoln and Nelson from Nebraska who all in the end voted the lib dem line on health care. Burns ran a crappy campaign in my honest opinion.
