Anyone know what’s going on with the PA-12 race (Tim Burns)?

Yup, Burns just conceded and we continue morphing into Greece. :-}

It is gone. They voted for the socialist democrat who will bring the tax payers money to their district the way Murtha brought it to them for decades.

Agreed. We should now NATIONALLY SHIFT ALL RESOURCES to Arizona to unseat incumbent, RINO, good-for-nothing John McCain and win the GOP nomination for JD Hayworth. That is where I would but all of my fire power right now. The TEA PARTY NATIONALLY should have a conference call first thing tomorrow morning to have a national unity meeting and resource massive resources and time and volunteers (phone banks, remote dialing, walkers, donors en mass to Arizona against John McCain.

It isn’t premature.

Specter’s day of reckoning has been coming for decades. Whatever happens this November at least he will no longer be appeased by the Republican establishment. I consider it a victory.

Of course I want Toomey to win. But it’s PA and I dont trust those people. I learned awhile ago not to trust “blue” state voters. I didn’t trust NJ or MASS until it really happened. Especially NJ as they were flirts several election cycles. It’s the same reason I was not overly invested in Murtha’s district. We went down this road twice before. I don’t expect those people to be anything but dedicated Democrat’s.

So I’m happy we removed Specter win or lose this fall. At very least his fall should serve to make others Republicans leery. Switching parties didn’t save his entrenched hide and betraying conservatives one too many time’s made it impossible to win the Republican primary. The other Republicans should consider carefully from now on whether the issue they break from the base is really worth it. As there comes a point when you’ve betrayed your base one too many times.

I do not trust Pennsylavnia and we should not count on this state. It is full of blue collar union workers.

It's a long, up hill battle, but we're not giving up or giving in.

With or without you, we're going to keep on fighting, into November and beyond!

Oops? Its the next best thing...>Blanche has to spend ALOT of money to keep her Virginian head above water in the June Runoff, all while Boozeman accumulates cash and trashes her.

Now we have the worst outcome that Col. Russell warned about. Burns loses to Critz, wins the primary, and has to face Critz again in 5 months in the General Election. Gleason should be run out of town on a rail.

Yep, it couldn't have turned out any worse. Burns doesn't have a chance of beating Critz in November after losing in the special.

Gleason should be run out of town or worse, wouldn't surprise me if Gleason is happy about this because of business interests.

So why does the AR SoS site have Halter at 44 and Lincoln at 41??? It’s like someone switched the numbers.

Different websites update at different intervals. The website I am using is ArkansasMatters.com because I can copy and paste the results easier.

“That is why they kept voting for Murtha until his death.”

Some elections we just can’t win. I work for a pipeline company in Texas and we have a big office in rural PA. I dare not even mention politics to those guys because they are as liberal as the day is long. You can’t throw facts at them or reason with them. I would have been shocked if Burns had pulled it off, but alas.... we live to fight another day.

Exactly!

Can donors who maxed out in the primary make another donation during a runoff or only in the general? If not, Blanche is screwed!
