If this was a fat finger incident, details would be known by now. I think there was a crash and somewho the feds moved in to shore it up. Not sure how many times they can do that.

“The famous market philosopher Martin Armstrong, who is currently in prison in Ft. Dix New Jersey”
It begs the question...
To: blam
He does have a very good point.
As they say in TPB’s...
The Crapicane is coming!

It's my opinion that is has happened
every day since May 6th.
The "Plunge Protection Team" is using the $700B of unallocated TARP money to artificially prevent the crash.
Conspiracy theory? Extremely so.
But take a look at the charts for yourself.

I’ve wondered if this is how the Romans felt when they saw the barbarian armies approaching.

Notice that the spike of activity is just before close... making all the numbers look nice and pretty for the day.
The next day, the market starts considerably lower.

Bad ticks are always revisited.
Armstrong is a cult figure but is a genius in some ways.

Now we have prison market philosophers,
perverts, lefties and lesbians infest the government,
and Miss USA is a Muslim pole dancer/stripper contest winner,
yep, just move along, everything normal here!

I am extremely well diversified and somewhat hedged against individual currency problems and debt defaults.
Essentially, I own a certain fraction of the whole world, with a couple of conservative side-bets.
I’ll still own the same fraction of the world if there is a crash. The world will just be worth less, and so will I.
But I have ammo, lots of wild critters to eat, and a large fenced yard I farm and can defend. I’ll survive.

He is in prison for investment fraud. He is some kind of financial ‘genius’ and was a millionaire at age 15. He has published a lot on finance/democracy....
Wikipedia....has a lot more. Actually true or false..I don’t know.

.
The barbarian invasions were massive shifts of “civilian” populations as well. Very much like the illegal invasion America is suffering from now.
