WOLVERENS!
Bacon!
Yep. Just hang on....
I’m tryin’ to finish up a reloading post.
About ready to pull the battery outa the friggin’ phone...
Yer gonna love this.
50 did a superior job.
Think I’ll trade my G37 (and extra moola for being one of the few to have bought a GAP) for one of those.
I think that would be a good idea.
I never understood the lure of the 45 GAP, but I as enamored of the Sig 357
However that 45 GAP could become a collectors piece.
Man! Tom said I didnt win the Liberty Safe!
Nuts! I never win nothin, hardly ever....
Has anybody used gun pal for weapons, ammo or other weapon related transactions?
I havent.
I’m still scared to take the Gunsamerica challenge, though I have been tempted.
I see GunPal is associated with Auction Arms.
They are of good reputation.
Wheres them pics 50?!!
Very nice gun to shoot. Very accurate. Mail order ammo isn't cutting it, and I don't really want to reload anymore.
You really should have gone to the Terrell IDPA match on Saturday. It was incredible. There was one stage where the best competitor was fifteen points down. One guy was over fifty. It was really, really tough.
Next week is a benefit match for a cancer victim. Entrance fee is fifty dollars. There will be prizes.
It was for citizens of countries which don’t allow military calibers.
OK, here's the deal on reloading the shells.
What you need:
*-Silicone spray (or if you can find it, just the liquid)
*-#9 lead shot
*-RWS .22 cal Quick Cleaning Pellets
*-A sharp hobby knife (Xacto), paper clip (or pen refill, etc.), a small funnel (or folded paper/cardboard) and a shot glass.
-Spray a little puddle of silicone in a shot glass or such.
-Take one of the felt pellets and cut it in half and another full pellet, and put them in the the silicone. After they soak up it up, pull them out and drain them on some paper towel.
-Push the full pellet down from the front end of the shell until it's about 1/16" from the breech end (there's a small ridge that you might feel)
-You need 17 grains of #9 shot. Luckily, one piece of shot is one grain. Good luck counting.
-Pour the shot into the shell and seal with half of pellet that you cut earlier.
I got 600 fps with this method, which matches the factory loads. And the group is actually tighter.
Hang on....
Yeah, specialty rounds are that way.
I liked the 357 sig, but I determined that the 7.62x25 tokarev round was equivalent and far more available.
Still I wish I had bought a 357 sig barrel and mag for my sig/mauser M2 when they were $25
Ya cant find them now.
Good job!
Sounds like a grand time as had by all.
I thought it as supposed to be stormy all weekend.
Nope. Weatherman lied again.
