Oh, good grief, what a bunch of bull. The only thing your empirical data shows is that the quest for grant money results in junk science.

I have long suspected the obesity/diet drink connection based solely on my own observation. More interesting is that the Air Force Flight Surgeon banned USAF pilots from drinking diet soda because of neurological/brain issues. I believe some of the fake sugars are poison, partially based on that report.
