Arlen Specter desperate in Pennsylvania (Obama won't even campaign for him)

With all recent polls now showing Congressman Joe Sestak grabbing a small lead over Senator Arlen Specter in the Democratic Senate
primary election in Pennsylvania set for May 18, a desperate Specter has decided to play his trump card- a TV ad with a testimonial to his greatness by President Obama,
crediting Specter for helping pass health care reform after his party switch (the 60th vote), and the stimulus package (while still ostensibly a Republican) .
It is of interest that President Obama has no plans to come into the state before next Tuesday to campaign for Specter. Given the recent track record of Obama campaign appearances (defeats for the Democrats in Governors races in New Jersey and Virginia and a loss of a Senate seat in Massachusetts), it may be that Obama prefers not to enter November with an 0 for 4 streak.
Republicans, on the other hand, may want to root for Specter to pull it out against Sestak. Paired against the GOP nominee for the Senate seat, Pat Toomey, Specter trails Toomey by 12 points, while Sestak is only
2 points behind Toomey. It may be that Specter ran from the GOP to avoid a primary defeat, only to get his head handed to him in a Democratic primary.
In reality, Specter has always been loyal only to the Party of Specter. Charlie Crist has now made clear that he operates under the Specter "principles" in Florida. Voters can tell when raw ambition, and narcissism ( a sense of colossal self-importance), trumps any governing philosophy.
Arlen Specter is just not that important. .

Would it be perverse to really want to see that evil, 2-faced asshole (Spector the Defector) rot in HELL?

Think of the children. The last refuge of a politcal hack.
Time for Specter to start looking for a booking in the Robert Byrd Assisted Living Pavilion For Drooling, ‘Do-You-Know-Who-I-Am’, Senators.

If Democrats cut him loose and he loses the primary, will he vote against Elena Kagan to get back at them?

The last scene shows some cute little girl, maybe 4 years old, walking and laughing with the doddering old codger. It really made me laugh out loud.
Sort of a take off on the mushroom cloud and daisy ad in the Goldwater campaign.

Arlen Specter is the dictionary photo under the phrase “What is wrong with Pennsylvania”.
To: Clintonfatigued
Never, he only gets back at conservatives, many of whom have been too dumb to understand.
To: SeekAndFind
Prediction: Sestak will kick Arlen’s scrawny butt by at least four points.

Cast out of Heaven was enough. Specter is cruel and unusual punishment. Besides, Specter would enjoy hell.

Good point, Sestak might win in the fall, for PA people are always looking for “democratic security.”

Me too! Toomey woulld tear Sphinchter limb from limb! Buuuut, Sestak will get all the Dead, Fictious, and Multiple Brain Dead Voters in Philly, enough to carry all the real Breathing Legitimate, Working, Church Going, Red Pickup Driving with the Rifles in the Backwindow Pennsylvanians that OBOZO HUSSEIN denigrated them as in one of his numerous Racist, Black Theology Rants! May the Demorats get screwed in Pennsylvania in 2010 and then in 2012 for good!

Thats a good thought, but too logical for Sphinchter! Sphinchter hates America above all and so will find Elena Kagan a perfect choice to destroy SCOTUS and AMERICA!
