When Bush 43 became president, I distinctly remember a news piece that talked about both Laura and Barbara (her mother-in-law) being pro-choice. I remember talking to my husband about it years ago. The only revelation that is new to me is her opinion on gay marriage. Her opinion on abortion has been in the news before.
Laura and Barbara have a conflict of interest: Both have already been born. I truly believe that no Bush is pro-life, but many have mouthed the expression to fool the meek.
I remember the same - about her being pro-abortion. Don’t know where or when. I do remember questioning it - thinking it might be spin.
I think I remember that as well.
