Hey Curious, I’m not a “birther”.
Why is it so difficult to produce an original birth document that indicates the name of the hospital/location and the doctor that delivered the this President into the world?
You answer that, and millions of regular “non-birther” citizens will stop asking.
Odd that the primary question of this thread is based upon an assumption that the story is manufactured.
Funny how people like this will go to all lengths to demand proof or verification of a charge, but refuse to even consider asking for a $15.00 defensive document that could quickly debunk and end the issue forever.
They also conveniently ignore the FACT that Obama has spent 2.5 mil + to keep all of his records that would supposedly vindicate his claims secret.
Regardless of where he was born, the FACT that he is ineligible to be president of the US is abundantly clear.
Why ask such a stupid question like “Why Mombasso?” when the more relevant question of “Why not release the long form” is not even addressed?
More power to ya, and good luck trying to sway the birthers. Mombasa could’ve taken hold as the location because of a “Kenyan birth certificate” for O. floating around online. His father was from west of Nairobi, and no mention is made of Mombasa - many, many miles east - in his biography, but there must be a reason for that too. ;-)
Well, the whole frame of your question and post is slanted. It can be classified as either “When did you stop beating your wife?” type question, or a total straw man.
As a “Birther” I don’t subscribe to any “belief system.” I simply have questions:
Whose name was on the birth certificate as father?
What hospital was he born in and who was the doctor?
Answer these two simple questions with the proof of the long form birth certificate and there would be no birther movement. But, that hasn’t happened. He hasn’t released the long form as McCain did. Anyone who says differently is a liar or a fool. Hawaii has fought against any inquiries and Obama has spent, through front groups, over a million dollars fighting against something that would cost ten bucks to put to rest.
Numerous states have now passed laws to require that certificate to be placed on the ballot. They also know something is up.
So, in your particular belief system, where was Obama born, what hospital and what doctor? Who was listed as the father on the certificate?
Please post the proof of the long form. So many here on FR would love to move on from the topic.

How did Barack Obama Sr. manage to travel the world like he did. Where did he get the money from?
If Obama’s mothers parents were as “destitute” as you try to paint them then how were they able to afford for their daughter to be traveling as much as she did and to go to college? You didn’t have cheap airline fares back then, hun. Nor did you have all the college loan schemes that we have nowadays. Where did they get the money from to be able to afford their daughter’s lifestyle if they were as destitute as you try to make them out to be?
Most importantly, why was it so important to Barack Obama to hide any and all documentation about him that one of his very first executive orders was to seal all of his records?
Also, remember when Bill Clinton was elected? Remember how you saw all sorts of people come crawling out of the woodwork to talk about him-former school teachers, schoolmates, friends from college, etc.. We were bombarded with stories about him in his younger days.
Have you noticed that there is hardly anyone who has come out to tell these kinds of stories about Barack Obama and the few who have are from his Indonesian school days and his Kenyan relatives. Why is that? One would think that people would be so proud to have known him when he was younger and the MSM so eager to embellish his mythology that they would be lapping it up like a scum sucking dog. We should still be hearing these “heartwarming stories” to this day out of the MSM. Where are they?
Finally always remember the old adage “Where there is smoke, there is fire.”. This kind of stuff would be real easy for Obama to stop-all he would have to do is release his records and COLB just like every other President has. Why has Obama only fed the fire by sealing his records. What does he fear about them?

We just know they story he gives does not make sense and the ‘birth certificate’ is fake.
Andhe has spend over a million dollars keeping the real one from being seen, and the governor of Hawaii has personally been involved to lock it away.
You dont need to come up with complext stories about how it could not have hapened in Mombassa- or anyplace else- just show us the birth certificate.
Or ANY evidence of any of his life. School transcripts, passport, college thesis (or anyone who remembers him from college) where did he get money to go to college...

As I’m sure you know, many confirmed FAKE birth certificates have been floating around since day 1 of this issue, INCLUDING Obama’s COLB he put up on his web site.
However, much of the information obtained from the Mombasa certificate lines up with other verifiable facts SUCH AS the name of the doctor (attending physician) and where/when he was practicing at the time.
We now know more about the Kenyan doctor who signed that birth certificate than we do about Obama himself.
Quite simply, Mombasa is the most credible piece of evidence we have so far... including a foot print that could easily be verified or debunked.
If you think that certificate is forged, why would someone include the footprint, knowing it would be the easiest way of debunking it?
I heard he was also half white.
There are legitimate questions and the jury is still out.

And, in case doctor obvious hasn’t visited yet, the point of the requests for a copy of his LONG version birth certificate isn’t for the birth certificate!!

This wasn't the first time I heard Mombasa mentioned, but it sure seemed like strong support to me. Be sure to read the initial post, following the link to see everything, and then begin reading the replies maybe with #15 and #17. If you are really interested in this I think you'll wish there were more than 335 replies.
