Yes rules are rules, but the coach should have pointed it out to the officials before the jump to give her an opportunity to remove it. She probably didn’t even realize she had it on or that it would be a problem. Happens all the time with my daughter—some officials require them to remove even stud earrings, others allow it. Half the time she doesn’t even realize she has earrings on! But they always remind them before the match if they do want them off.
