Conservative gives the candidate he backs in California an ultimatum [Get moving DeVore]

(CNN) – A prominent conservative is issuing an ultimatum, essentially telling the candidate he supports to do better in the polls – or lose his support.

Erick Erickson, editor-in-chief of RedState.com, backs Assemblyman Chuck DeVore in the California Republican senate primary. DeVore is locked in a battle with former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina and former Rep. Tom Campbell for the right to face Democratic Sen. Barbara Boxer in November.

Speaking Tuesday with CNN Chief National Correspondent John King, Erickson – a CNN contributor - said he won't support DeVore much longer if the candidate does not improve his political standing.

"Look, if Chuck DeVore hasn't gone up in the polls within two weeks significantly, I'll be with Carly Fiorina because Tom Campbell is that bad," Erickson said.

Yep. And his SBTFS (Sudden Build the Fence Syndrome) is so far beyond the pale, he should be fired for that flip flop alone!

“How long before the Calls for him to drop out and support Carly.”

.
This is what has snuffed him; he threatens to throw his support to Campbell. So much for his ‘conservative’ credentials.

Boring, it matters

“I don’t like Carly Fiorina, and even less after watching that video that FR is attaching to threads”

.
I detest fiorina, almost as much as I detest McCain, but I’m voting for Fiorina because Campbell is worse than Boxer.

“I had no idea DeMint shared Palin’s call for amnesty, or TARP, or welfare for ‘special needs’ kids, or global warming regulations. But I could be wrong.”

Yep, you are wrong AND you avoided the DeMint point because you are nailed.

Palin does NOT support amnesty.

Tarp she supported as the VP nominee for McCain. She has to do that.

Welfare for special needs children? wtf is that?

If she is for cap and tax, she is wrong...but I think you’re making that up...gotta link?

“I’ve called out Palin for her stands on the issues when she is wrong, like the oil tax.”

Palin was right.

Palin, until she specifically refutes her fawning illegal alien interview on Univision still supports amnesty. It’s only been a year and a half. No time to correct the record or fit it into her book?

Now what point about DeMint am I not addressing?

People can't get past the DEVO in his name.

Time for him to "crack that whip" or "give the past the slip."

Jim, none of the Packards are conservatives; they are radical enviro-nazi nut balls.

Nothing they have to say is worth listening to.

You’re making wild assertions about Sarah Palin (again).

For you to say that she supports climate change flies in the face of what she calls “Kneecap and Tax.”

Amnesty claims? The very day after Governor Brewer of Arizona signed the legislation, Sarah Palin was there to support her and did interviews on FNC supporting the governor and the legislation in its entirety.

Special needs welfare? Please provide links to “welfare” proposals.

TARP? You’re likely right. She was a VP candidate and for all I know, she might still think it was the right move. I have no idea about her current position on that.

I don’t know about the rest of the Packards but David Packard was Finance Director for the President Ford Election Committee vs. Ronald Reagan in 1976, before he was forced out for non-performance. He raised less than 20% of his goal in a specified timeframe so Ford fired him.

Dude, name one person with political/re-election aspirations who isn't tip-toeing around what to do with 20+M illegals here besides:

a) deportation

b) heavy fines on employers

c) removal of all public services

d) all of the above, to make them leave??
