Good for you! I will not be driven out of Texas either.
“What the hell is wrong with gatorade?”
It has electrolytes!!!
I like Kentucky (although from some of the public service announcements and posters you see there, there must be five meth labs down in every holler, which is a bit unnerving)
Minnesota seems bent on following the California template. 3M and NWA aren’t the only ones leaving.
Isn't Colorado a "blue" state?
You mean NWA left Compton?
if Pennsylvania does not join this Voyage of the Damned, it will only be because the term limit clock strikes twelve on Fast Eddie Rendell in the fall (and if past trends hold, our next Governor will be a Republican)
At the rate CA is going Silicon Valley may become the next Death Valley! When the business climate becomes hostile enough hi-tech start ups won’t be starting there!
I just love that bumper sticker that says:
“I wasn’t born in Texas, but I got here as soon as I could!”
Except for Austin, I so appreciate the folks there...
And plenty of military retires needing work.
Just be glad it's not that drink that was made at FSU, Seminade.
I really don't think these people have the mental capacity to get California back. It takes some wise and difficult choices to make the needed changes and the only ones these people like to make is what bottled water or organic salad to buy. They have a mental illness that prevents them from thinking otherwise. They are run by FEAR!
And the state of california encourages that illegal immigration. Ya have to wonder if they aren’t trying to give the state back.
I moved here, Texas, over 30 years ago from New York. The Texans tolerated me the folks they really didn’t like were Califonians.
They all know where the loot is. I remember some Viet Nam refugees working in a cheese plant 1977,in the Mid West, heard the good news that in California they were paying rent, giving English classes and Mr. Welfare was inviting them to walk out of their jobs...and go West. They did, got in a motorcycle accident that Mr. Welfare helped them get.
The state government is very much Democrat, however Colorado Springs and surrounding El Paso County are the exact polar opposite of Boulder.
Typical California ignorance, it spans political ideology I see. Kentucky is not what you think it is.
California’s GDP per capita in 2008 was 42,696
Kentucky’s GDP per capita in 2008 was 31,826
A person making 42,699 in California is living in a slum, uneducated and on food stamps. A person making 31,826 in Kentucky is living in a decent lower class neighborhood, is educated and works for a living.
At least their not like the complete toothless losers in the backwoods of Kentucky though. \sarc
