A four year old.
If I were to use the kind of language that comes to mind, I’d be banned.
Is there no limit at all any more to the level of stupidity of people in public roles?
I am sure the bus driver would have done the same had it been her kid or one of her friends.
Australia doe yourself a favor, get rid of the trash before they destroy your country.
We’ve had the pleasure of seeing what happens when you don’t act when garbage wants to hijack your country.Don’t be like us.
Cute kid, where the hexx was Mum?
Could the child have not gone back home?
I guess this is what happens when someone is completely dependant on the Government for almost everything.
Shifty eyed little freeloader.
The bigger the government, the smaller the citizen. Until you get to the point where the "citizens" are capable of unthinking cruelty to small children in service to the all-powerful, soul-crushing bureaucracy.
Ms Watts said Greencards were provided to all her eight children as part of the Government's free school bus travel policy for social-welfare recipients and that Tiarnah's card being out of action had nothing to do with her, or the family's, finances.
Can anyone post a picture of the driver?
Yes, that is the right solution.
Meanwhile, the bus driver has been promoted as chief of all bus drivers for her sharp-witted response to freeloaders that try to ride the bus. She will be coming out with a manual on how to kick 4-yr olds off the bus without feeling any remorse. /s
Sorry, that picture is protected by government censors!
What gets me is this would not be the first time this little girl had ridden the bus this school year, and surely the driver would have known that? And then figured out that there was something wrong with the card or reader and let the kid on the bus? Very very stupid bus driver!!!
This is an all too typical outcome of mindless bureaucratic rules. An liberals still wonder why conservative have trouble with big government. Shaking head in disbelief
Who puts a 4 year old on a bus by herself? Where was the parent(s)?
Australia does not have the elaborate system of school buses we have here. In many areas children get to school on public bus routes. And the four-year-old was not entirely by herself: she was in the care of her thirteen-year-old sister, who fortunately was responsible and took care of the younger child.
I’m in Tasmania, so have been following this story closely.
Bus CCTV footage shows quite a different story as to what was reported in the Mercury newspaper. Put simply, the incident didn’t happen as it was reported, i.e. the girl wasn’t thrown off the bus at all. One of the other children told her to get off the bus, which she did. They then walked away from the bus.
As for anyone wondering why the mother has 8 children, here in Australia, whenever a woman has a child, she receives a $5,000 government (taxpayer funded) payment. It’s called the Baby Bonus. It was implemented around 5 years ago.
Where was the girls father, someone asked? He’s probably in prison. Or has shacked up with his new girlfriend and is producing many children with her.
Don’t believe all you read in the Mercury newspaper!
