Interesting. I'm curious, how do Jews best interests differ from the interests of other liberal Americans? Black or white, straight or gay? Don't come back to me with Israel BS, that segment of the electorate that opposed the Iraq war, paulistinians aside, in favor of netotiations obviously would take the same position on Israel.
As a Republican, how the h*ll does the GOP have my interests as a JEW at heart, vis a vis the Dems. I can think of a dozen differences beteween the parties which I'd be happy to argue, but to advocate for the GOP because I'm a Jew, I don't know how to do that, at least to anyone with some level of political knowledge extending back a few decades.
Don’t be so defensive, I’m a member of the tribe as you are.
What I posted is irrefutable- Jews are an integral part of the base of Democrat party. They remain so even though that party does not act in the best interests of Israel. The GOP has not always been great to Israel either- taking the position that they had to absorb scud missile attacks without fighting back in the Gulf War, for example.
But as Rabbi Shmuley said tonight on his radio show, if you are Jewish and you still support Ozero, you must have rocks in your head.
The Jews who are part of the liberal base are liberal ideologues, and they have rocks in their head where there should be freedom of thought.
