Needless to say many conservatives of the FreeRepublic persuasion aren't pleased by the poll. From which one shouldn't draw too many conclusions since Obama won't be on the ballot.
Maybe part of the loss in Jewish support for O stems from artifact. The much repeated 78 percent Jewish vote for O in '08 was a result of left-sponsored polls using faulty sampling techniques. The real number was probably about 10 points lower.
Furthermore the McLaughlin poll doesn't measure O against any specific opposing candidate. It just asks the respondent if he/she would consider voting for someone else.
