Margaret Sanger opened the first American family-planning clinic in 1916, and nothing would be the same again. Since then the growing proliferation of birth control methods has had an awesome effect on both sexes and led to a sea change in moral values.
And as I've grown older over the past five decades -- from 1960 to 2010 -- and lived through this revolutionary period in female sexuality, I've seen how it has altered American society -- for better or worse.

Good for Raquel. I always thought she was pro-abort. Looks like maybe she’s not.

I should add that having two babies didn't destroy my figure. That right there, is what ya' call a bullet proof argument.

But he was unflinching in his desire to keep our baby and his positive, upbeat attitude about the whole prospect turned everything around. I have always loved Jim for how he responded in that moment. Men hold the key.

Only the ‘fall/winter’ of one’s life can accurately reflect on the ‘spring & summer’. Ms Welch, is reflecting back that happens during our last 2 seasons of life, and even though not stated in this article, realizes what a grave mistake it was to allow the sexual freedom attitude to permeate the culture. Good for her for growing and having the wisdom to see what the 60’s and forward, has brought; promisicuousness, divorce, illegimate births, abortion and shattered lives.

Yep. Limbaugh predicted this back in the impeachment days. Once again, Rush was right!

Her new book is great. She was on with Dennis Miller a few weeks ago...she gets it. She doesn’t agree with the whacko women’s lib movement at all.

I’m really impressed! I thought this was great:
“In stark contrast, a lack of sexual inhibitions, or as some call it, “sexual freedom,” has taken the caution and discernment out of choosing a sexual partner, which used to be the equivalent of choosing a life partner. Without a commitment, the trust and loyalty between couples of childbearing age is missing, and obviously leads to incidents of infidelity. No one seems immune.”
