Many Sarah Palin devotees seem shocked that Sarah Palin endorsed Carly Fiorina for Senator. They believed Sarah Palin to be representative of the Tea Partywho all endorse Chuck DeVore.
Sarah Palin is first, a Republican.
Sarah Palin has shown loyalty to John McCain and Carly Fiorina is a friend to John. Perhaps she feels its only right.
Sarah Palin speaks at Tea Party events and likes certain principles, but by her own admission she does not represent the Tea Party. In fact, she arrived late to the Tea Partyit had been growing and thriving for months before her first speech at an event. She then signed on with Tea Party Express, whom many Tea Party activists view as a Republican organization (as opposed to a grassroots organization) to speak at the anchoring events.
Was it a good political move to endorse Carly Fiorina? Not for Sarah and maybe not for Carly. This is California, after all, and Chuck DeVore has the Tea Party and serious conservative vote wrapped up. Some have speculated that this endorsement was a desperate move to shore up a failing campaign. Although, it looks like many big donors are going to move in to help Carly because they believe she has the best chance against Barbara Boxer.
Once more, I believe the establishment is wrong. First, theyre misjudging the grassroots sentiment. A Sarah Palin endorsement wont win Carly Fiorina votes. It just wont. And its condescending and tone-deaf to believe it will. Second, Carly Fiorina is not the best candidatein the primary or the general.

That much is true. I like Sarah a lot but I have never considered her a part of the TEA Party movement
Rush said the same thing about 2 months ago.
....So don't ask me to prove it. I said so.
Doesn’t Sarah only show up at Tea Parties when she’s paid $100,000?
I don’t believe Palin to be part of the Tea party either, but if she insists on backing RINO’s she can kiss the Tea party movements vote good bye. That’s if she decides to run for anything meaningful.
Her time in the sun is almost over. She need not worry about 2012.
Sarah Palin supports John McCain-STRIKE 1!
Sarah Palin supports Carly Fiorina-STRIKE 2!
Wonder what’s going to be Strike 3?
No that has been perpetrated and promoted by leftists, dems, the MSM and those within the Tea Party Movement that wish to promote themselves as the "leaders."
Most tea party activists know what the TPX is all about and have no problem with it being a promoter and acknowledger of the grass roots-ness of the Tea Party Movement
“Sarah Palin is first, a Republican”
How nice.
I'd still like to see how that money went "back to the cause"?
“Let’s say Sarah isn’t conservative enough. Let’s say there’s another candidate in the wings who is more conservative. (1) Who is it? (2) Can they motivate the voters, humble the media, and defeat the incumbent?”
geeze...it’s like deja vu! If we are having to ask ourselves the same questions AGAIN because we are willing to ‘settle’, then we deserve a McCain AGAIN.
“Sarah Palin supports Carly Fiorina-STRIKE 2!”
It’s California. DeVore has no chance of winning there, Campbell is a disaster. Do we want to see Boxer go down, or no??
Interesting that even those with a "conservative mind" buy into the misinformation put out by those with an agenda against Palin and the Tea Party Movement.
Palin was "paid" for her being the key note speaker at the Tea Party Convention last year, but she plowed the money back into the conservative cause---did not take it for herself
This year she spoke in Searchlight, NV and Boston, Mass with the Tea Party Express III tour, and did not take any money for those appearances

Go Sarah!
The left would love for her to be the leader--then they could do the Alinsky to her.
My take on Fiorina...FIRE REID...who stands the best chance of ousting Boxer and putting McConnell into the leadership of the Senate? Looks like Fiorina. Her bonafides look, to me, better than Scott Brown's and I was thrilled to get Brown into Kennedy's seat. And Boxer is as ghastly as Kennedy.
I also do not like the way Devore behaved after the endorsement. He should have behaved like JD Hayworth.
If we take back the Houses, Sarah will be one of the people who will deserve lots of credit.
These primaries are the most nerve-racking midterm primaries, ever. We must balance a desire for perfection with the desperate need to take back the Houses. Keep in mind, there will be yet another primary within two years.
The true TEA Party movement is grassroots citizens, not politicians.
