You probably would enjoy the ending of “A Boy and His Dog” better. Post-apocalypse world, boy meets girl, boy saves girl, boy feeds girl to dog at the end. Starring a young Don Johnson.

It bothered me in "One Second After" when the dog was eaten. The tables are turned in the Sci-Fi movie "A Boy and His Dog". (don't wanna to spoil the ending).
