Former Alaska GOP Gov. Sarah Palin's endorsement of Carly Fiorina in California's Senate race has prompted a fervent blowback on her Facebook page, long Palin's safe haven for delivering her message.
The revolt is coming from Palin supporters who also back Chuck DeVore a tea party favorite who is campaigning against Fiorina in the Republican primary.
Palins Facebook page is littered with comments opposing her endorsement of Fiorina, the former CEO of Hewlett Packard.
The only REAL CONSERVATIVE is Chuck DeVore. Fiorina is a RINO and we don't need any more of those in [California], one irate commenter wrote. Why wouldn't you back Chuck DeVore???
Sorry Sarah but I think Chuck DeVore is the conservative candidate you should be supporting, added another, who was followed up by a DeVore supporter who wrote: I don't agree with this endorsement AT ALL! What are you thinking Sarah?

As long as the wage rate for daily labor is higher than that in other countries, well have people trying to cross our border illegally. A physical barrier needs to be across the entire border, but we can at least do our part in California; and if the federal government wont pay for it, we will handle our own portion.
Once we have our border really secure, we have to address the problems caused by those whose parents brought them into our country illegally. Those children, many who are now adults, are not the ones who broke the law, and in some cases, they have no other home. I could see a different approach for them than for their parents, who did knowingly break our laws, and who do have another place that is their legal home. But securing the border has to come first, because any grant of privileges invites more illegal entry.
I also believe that those who broke our laws to enter our country should not be permitted to stay. Amnesty programs invite future illegal entry.
The lowest reliable estimates Ive seen are that illegal immigration costs our state 3 billion dollars a year. Ive seen reliable estimates at twice that level, too. America, like all sovereign nations, has the right to determine whom we invite to become citizens. We should determine that on the basis of our countrys needs, not on the basis of who enters illegally.
Furthermore, we should impose serious employee sanctions for those who hire those illegally here.
We should establish an e-verify system for employers to check the name and social security number of all new employees. If the number and name match, the employer can be given an OK number for her or his records. If an employer is found who does not have an OK number for each of her or his employees, we need to impose very serious fines on that employer. This still wont catch everyone, but it will catch most of the illegal aliens, since the most common kind of fraud involves simply making up a social security number.
It is long overdue for us to punish the employer who breaks the law, as well as the illegal alien, and to secure our border with a fence enforced by our National Guard. Californians deserve an immigration policy that enforces its laws and protects its citizens."
Ain’t that the truth.
Problem is this thread is not about DeVore or Fiorina or Campbell. It’s Palin bashing. You called it right to before: trolls.
Probably liberals or libertarians or other freaks.
The truth is that Boxer will win regardless of who is the nominee.
Don’t get me wrong. There are things that I like about Sarah. She was far better than McCain. I just don’t get some of the people she endorses. How she can claim to be a moral conservative and then support candidates that are not. Maybe I don’t know enough about the candidates in this case to speak like I did. I am just ticked off at who she has endorsed in the past, and figured this was one more of the same. I admit that I could be wrong. I reacted to some of the initial comments I read. But I am not totally sure at this point.
A newBie, what a surprise

Wow, what a thoughtful comeback.
Very telling :)
What about Israel?
You cannot seem to grasp that Devore cannot win the primary, so anything after that is moot, the only one that can knock out your guy Campbell, is Fiorina.
Is that the reason that she is the only one that you are against?
Actually, most of us voted for him based on his debate performance, personality, electability, and his ‘outsider’ status.
An outsider is appealing as opposed to the known political swamp-dweller, but the downside is the lack of actual voting record.
This is the same gamble you seem ready to make with regard to Fiorina. She says some of the right things, and polls as electable, but has no voting record.
I, on the other hand, have heard nothing good from people who personally knew and worked for Fiorina at HP, and I’m not willing to gamble again on somebody with a non-history in politics.
Absolutely, Sarah Palin’s political instincts are pretty sharp, imo. Those she has endorsed have a real chance of winning this fall. Pres. Sarah Palin as the leader will set the agenda and judging by her past performance, she is quite capable in getting others to carry out her agenda.
Jihad-enabling GOPer Tom Campbell Wants to be Californias U.S. Senator
Its not just that Campbell was one of the most liberal Republicans in the House of Representatives. Its much more important than that:
Campbell was the Islamic terrorists best friend in Congress when he served. Campbell, as Ive noted before, is a friend of convicted Islamic terrorist and Islamic Jihad founder and frontman, Sami Al-Arian.
He did everything in his power to stop Al-Arian from being convicted or deported. He was also one of the most anti-Israel members of Congress and the most pan-Muslim. The alphabet soup of Muslim interest groupsCAIR, MPAC, ISNA, MASall knew that Campbell was their go-to guy and even placed extremist Muslims (redundant) as staffers in his office, including the son of an Al-Qaeda fundraiser
When [Sami] Al-Arian was fired from the University of South Florida, from which he ran his terrorist network, Campbell wrote a letter of support praising Al-Arian and asking the University president to reconsider her decision. In the letter, Campbell noted that Al-Arian helped him raise money for his failed U.S. Senate bid.
[Campbell’s] donors have included Nihad Awad, executive director of the anti-Israel Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) . . . .
Other Campbell donors, besides Al-Arian, included Muthanna Al-Hanooti, an official of an Islamic charity that is a major donor to what the FBI identified as HAMAS Jordanian operation [DS: Since I wrote this, Al-Hanooti was indicted as a spy for Saddam Hussein]; and Tariq Hamdi, an Al-Arian associate, who was indicted last month on immigration and mortgage fraud charges and has fled the country.
According to testimony in the trials of perpetrators of the 1998 U.S. embassy bombings, Hamdi provided the satellite phone battery to Osama Bin Laden that was instrumental in those bombings.
Another donor, Abdurahman Alamoudi, was captured on video in front of the White House announcing his support for HAMAS and Hezbollah. . . . His indictment connected him with assorted Islamic terrorist groups and activities.
Those are Campbells donors. Then, there are Campbells former employees.
Suhail Khan held several key positions for Campbell, including Press Secretary and Policy Director.
But Khan is an Islamist who invited terror supporters and anti-Semites to the Bush White House (where he once worked) and whose father brought Al-Qaeda leader Ayman Al-Zawahiri into the United States to raise money for Al-Qaeda.
His father, Mahboob Khan, late founder and head of the Santa Clara Mosque, brought Zawahiri into the U.S. twice on a fake passport in the mid-90s to raise money for Al-Qaeda. . . .
I just look at it this way, not every person she endorses will make everyone happy. Can you imagine living like that, having to get the approval of every single person. It will never work, will just drive a person batty. The McCain endorsement, was I happy about it..NO but I understood why she did it..I laughed at all the fake shock when she endorsed McCain, like it was such a huge shock, she always said she would support him and anyone who read her book knew that. I knew after reading her book she would endorse him I was just waiting for official word. Now as far as Fiorina goes, why she endorsed her, who knows. She met with DeVore in Nevada(Searchlight) maybe something happened and she saw him in a bad light..I tell ya what, DeVore did himself NO favors by reacting the way he allowed his spokespeople to respond today. I found it to be childish and something a liberal would do. To call her a “Sheepdog” was absolutely disgusting. This is the same “sheepdog” he went to Nevada to get her endorsement, but since she did not endorse him, he comes back behaving like a baby. We have enough children running this state. It just rubbed me the wrong way and I was stunned that he allowed his spokespeople to do that. It showed something about his character..it has nothing even to do with Sarah Palin anymore, has to do with character and he showed a flaw as far as Im concerned today
Maybe CA isn’t a lost cause after all!
In what might be the “sign of the year” I clicked to enlarge the picture and it has CA license plates!

Your point is well made.
Most of your efforts and your very long posts are devoted to Campbell, who you clearly prefer over Fiorina.
Thank U
You mean like Rudy Giuliani? At least, unlike Boxer, he is against Obamacare, cap and trade, amnesty, and he supports the Arizona immigration law. I support Devore, but if the criterion is who has the best shot at beating Boxer, then Campbell may be better than Fiorina.
Like you, I’m quite pleased with her as well. She’s picking her team and I can’t wait to vote for her!!
When were these guys going to inform the voters of all of Carly’s endorsements.
No thanks. She is a RINO and was a horrible head of HP. I don’t even know why she is in the race.
Oh right; most good people don’t want to be politicians because they are from the bottom of the scum barrel.
Palin must know we the people are doing everything to correct this.
They are ALL politicians. Everyone running is a politician.
very telling of yours
