Former Alaska GOP Gov. Sarah Palin's endorsement of Carly Fiorina in California's Senate race has prompted a fervent blowback on her Facebook page, long Palin's safe haven for delivering her message.
The revolt is coming from Palin supporters who also back Chuck DeVore a tea party favorite who is campaigning against Fiorina in the Republican primary.
Palins Facebook page is littered with comments opposing her endorsement of Fiorina, the former CEO of Hewlett Packard.
The only REAL CONSERVATIVE is Chuck DeVore. Fiorina is a RINO and we don't need any more of those in [California], one irate commenter wrote. Why wouldn't you back Chuck DeVore???
Sorry Sarah but I think Chuck DeVore is the conservative candidate you should be supporting, added another, who was followed up by a DeVore supporter who wrote: I don't agree with this endorsement AT ALL! What are you thinking Sarah?

Tom has a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Chicago. His faculty advisor was Milton Friedman. Prior to that, Tom had obtained his B.A. and M.A. degrees in economics from the University of Chicago, on the same day in 1973. He then entered Harvard Law School where he served on the Harvard Law Review Board of Editors. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Harvard Law in 1976. After law school, Tom served as law clerk to U.S. Supreme Court Justice Byron White. Thereafter, Tom returned to the University of Chicago for his economics doctorate, received in 1980. His free market economics training cemented a life-long commitment to limited government and greater individual liberty.
In 1978, Tom married Susanne, his bride of now 31 years. From 1980-1981, Tom was a White House Fellow in the Office of the Chief of Staff. He then served in the Reagan Administration as Director of the Bureau of Competition, at the Federal Trade Commission from 1981 to 1983.
In 1983, Tom was offered a professorship at Stanford Law School. Tom received full tenure in 1987 at the age of 34. At Stanford, Toms classes included antitrust, international trade law, corporate law, and constitutional law, with a particular emphasis on the application of economics to legal problems. At Stanford, Susanne continued her life-long interest in Russia, becoming fluent in Russian, and managing tours to the then Soviet Union. In 1992, Berkeleys Center for Research in Management hired Susanne to help establish a business school in St. Petersburg, Russia. She was the Executive Director of that program for 16 years.
In 1988, Tom again entered public service. Tom served as a United States Congressman for five terms representing districts in the Silicon Valley. He was also a California State Senator, and the Director of Finance for the State of California. In Congress, Tom served on the Judiciary Committee, the Joint Economic Committee, the Banking and Housing Committee and the International Relations Committee. He has served since 2004 on the Council of Economic Advisors to California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. During Toms tenure as State Finance Director, Californias budget was balanced with no tax increases, no new borrowing, and no accounting gimmicks.
Tom has received many accolades for his public service. To name a few, the National Taxpayers Union Foundation named Tom the most frugal member of the 102nd Congress, based on net annualized spending reductions in legislation he proposed. The California Journal named Tom the #1 overall State Senator; the State Senates Best Problem-Solver, and the Most Ethical State Senator.
In 2002, Tom was appointed Dean of the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. As Dean of Haas, Tom stressed the importance of corporate social responsibility and business ethics amid an era of corporate scandals. Under Toms Deanship, the newly formed Center for Responsible Business took firm root, as well as the Center for Non Profit Management. The Haas Schools rankings shot up in every category and every survey during Toms tenure as Dean; most dramatically, reaching the rank of no. 2 in the nation according to the Wall Street Journal in Toms last year.
In 2009, Tom and Susanne took a leave of absence to move to Southern California where he joined the Chapman University School of Law in Orange County as the inaugural Presidential Fellow and Visiting Professor of Law. He also serves as an economic advisor to the international law firm of Gibson Dunn & Crutcher.
So you want us to vote for Carly? Just like Californians did for Arnold instead of McClintock ? I know its a different race here, but I would rather have the other side win than be betrayed again by voting for another RINO.

AMEN!!!!
At least we know what to expect from a Democrat! RINOs stick their fingers in the air, and see what type of favorable press they’ll receive!
WE’ve seen how McLame and Grahmnesty have royally screwed their party, time and time again!
That is right.
I am sick and tired at how Palin can’t even endorse someone without the nuts coming out of the woodwork. Go troll Romney, go troll Huck, or go troll your pick Paul.
Once again...Sarah is the Rhino. First with McCain. Now she is pushing the lesser of two evils argument that got us in this mess in the first place.
A newBie, what a surprise
What is the reason that you like Campbell so much?
Of course many people here aren't conservatives. I don't meet conservatives in real life as stupid or traitorous as those that just love the Palin bashing. Those that join threads to say stupid things like the above. Conclusion: all trolls, either obots or mittbots or those plugging for another conservative. The worst are the latter IMO.
Lol, a newbie Palinbot playing the troll card....
Heh, Actually, I consider myself a Jefferson type of voter - long extinct...
She has also endorsed Alan West and many others. Please don’t tell me Alan West is a RINO I will be shocked LOL. If Fiorina is such a RINO how come she has gotten the endorsement of the pro life movement, were they fooled too?
What is wrong with my statement about Devore? He has those endorsements.
Make up your mind. First you quote a poll as your justification, and when I refute that by quoting another poll, you switch to a personal dislike based on a Hannity appearance ?
You are a troll.
I don’t care if Fiorina is “a reach across the aisle” Republican.
Because a Republican majority in the Senate, regardless of the individual senator’s political views, means that the Republican’s take over the leadership.
That instead of Senate Majority Leader Schumer or Senate Majority Leader Durbin, you’ll have Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.
That Obama’s takeover of our country is blocked and possibly reversed.
And even if the Republican don’t take the majority but gain seats, they can stall or stop the Democrats.
Dream all you want but the Obama steamroller to hell must be stopped.
Devore has 13%. That is not a good number.
Irony overload...
MY gosh, you really are a Campbell supporter, I did not expect to see that here at FR.
You do know that the guy is a dedicated pro homosexual, proabortion, pro tax, pro homo marriage, anti prop 8, anti social conservative guy, don’t you?
DeVore can’t win.
More irony overload....
I pay no attention to serial Sarah bashers and I pay the same zero attention to out of staters when it comes to CA politics.
I am a third generation native of CA and my primary vote is nobody’s business but mine.
My vote in the general election will be AGAINST BOXER, no matter which candidate wins the Republican primary.
