Maybe this thread will actually get some traffic with the polls closing.

2210 Counts are now underway, with dozens of Sunderland schoolchildren passing ballot boxes hand-to-hand in the region’s traditional - and inexplicable - race to be the first to declare. The safe Labour seat of Houghton & Sunderland is expected to announce at 11pm, with Washington & Sunderland and Sunderland Central following shortly afterwards.

From ConservativeHome.com

Tim Montgomerie at 10pm: Contrary to the exit poll which has the Tories 19 short we are expecting a good night for the Conservatives; probably a small working majority. David Cameron will become Prime Minister. The party will make deep inroads into Labour territory but will not do well against the Liberal Democrats. The LibDems may come third, winning 100 seats in total. The exit poll has the LibDems only on 59 seats.

Why the H__l isn’t BBC-America carry any converage? At the momement they have a rerun of Gordon Ramseys Kitchen Nightmares. While I normally enjoy a little Gordan Ramsey, I would much rather see some election coverage. Dish Network doesn’t carry c-span 3 and all the online links that have been posted are saying “server busy”. I guess I just screwed...

2217 The Spectator’s Fraser Nelson and The Guardian’s Polly Toynbee are in rare agreement on Sky News - that the exit poll’s Lib Dem seat count is suspiciously and unbelievably low. But how could one of the largest polls of the election (18,000 people were surveyed) get it so wrong?

2224 More reports of voters being turned away from polling stations because of the high turnout. Apparently around 20 people were locked out when booths shut in Nick Clegg’s Sheffield Hallam constituency. Similar stories in Dalston and Hackney in East London.

The predictions seem to shortchange the LibDems by ten seats or so, I really can believe that the mail votes favor him more than the vote today.

BBC had some Labour hack and he was already spouting about how wonderful proportional representation is. This is the price the Liberal-Democrats would demand to form a coalition government with Labour.

Yeah, I get Time Warner Cable and we only get BBC America. What is with that anyhow? Why would anyone tune in to the BBC to find out what’s going on in the USA? Surely the reason why someone checks out BBC is to find out what’s going on in the UK - and they don’t even cover their general election, instead we get a COOKING SHOW???? Is the BBC owned by the goverment or something? - LOL

This renews my appreication of Fox News.
