Just coming in:- The Tories have snatched Battersea in London, apparently a Labour stronghold-N.Ireland First Minister Peter Robinson has lost east Belfast to an independent-Liberals have taken Thornbury & Yate-Labour keep Barking in East London, also Darlington and Durham & Chester le Street-Tories have 2 more confirms, Bromley and Putney , both in London

Tories picked up Kingswood on a 9.4% swing. This was NOT on the main target list. Big result.

Basildon South was one that the Conservatives expected to take. It was #17 on the target list.

Torbay was looking like a tough seat to retake after the Lib Dem spike in the polls.
