He is still not a natural born citizen if his father was born out of this country. Why do they insist he is? He isn’t.

Correct ! i dont care if he was born on the steps of Congress, his father was a British Subject which automatically means he is not Natural Born, which automatically disqualifies him from being President. unless of course Barack 1st aint his Daddy??

Actually, if Papa were a naturalized citizen at the time of Barry’s hatching, that would suffice - but his father was not a U.S. citizen at all.

He is not a natural born citizen not because his father was born out of this country, but because his father was not a US citizen at the time of his birth. Thus, no matter where Obama was born, he is not qualified to be president. Furthermore, assume for a moment that Obama Sr. was a US citizen at the time of Obama Jr.'s birth. Because Jr. forfeited his citizenship when his mother married an Indonesian who adopted Jr. and made him an Indonesian citizen, as proven by records showing he attended a public school there, where he was born and the citzenships of his parents at the time he was born are irrelevant -- unless he went through the formal process of reclaiming his US citizenship at some point (and changing his name back to Obama from Soetoro). I haven't seen any such documentation, so I can only assume he is an illegal alien who is still an Indonesian citizen.

He is still not a natural born citizen if his father was born out of this country. Why do they insist he is? He isnt. Maybe because there is a flawed understanding of the definition of NBC.

He is still not a natural born citizen if his father was born out of this country. That would not be a disqualification if his father was born a citizen of US under statute law, or went through the naturalization process. His father was never a citizen, so he cannot be a natural born citizen, even if he was born on the beach at the North Shore.
