Really ironic that an “English” Master doesn’t know the difference between a prefatory and an operative clause.

Thank you. I was an engineering student. Loved math. My grammatical skills were stunted by the Language Arts program at my public school. I learned more about the effective use of the English language while on the job, and through reading.

I know that the introductory clause of the 2nd Ammendment was not constructed to restrict what came later.
