He was obviously on a list of “known” individuals. This is the same as someone asking for police protection but the police say they can’t because the bad guy hasn’t killed anyone YET. If we know these “potential” terrorists are in our country then why the heck do we let them over stay their visas, naturalize them, and let them stay? Never mind, we can’t secure the border either and ICE is nowhere to be found in a Viva la Mexico parade.
Shahzad’s flight to Dubai had left the gate and was headed toward the runway when authorities discovered that he was on board and wanted.

An Islamic terrorist named Faisal Shahzad is the Time Square bomber according to media reports. He is Muslim of Pakistani heritage with dual citizenship in the United States, a registered Democrat in the state of Connecticut who may be an Obama donor. He was recently naturalized as a U.S. citizen under the Obama administration’s lenient open door policy.
Shahzad Faisal as identified by NBC News, or Faisal Shahzad as identified by U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, is a U.S. citizen of Pakistani origin. He was arrested at JFK airport in New York trying to flee the country back to Pakistan via a connector flight to Dubai, India on flight UAE 202. He was taken off the airplane sitting on the runway, promptly read his Miranda rights, and presumably went silent.
Obama’s policy of treating enemy combatants as common criminals has been much criticized outside of liberal intelligentsia. At least they got their man, but the free lawyers that us taxpayers are giving him will assure very little intelligence is gathered in this case.

A video obtained from a tourist in the area shows a person apparently running north on Broadway, while another video shows a balding man with dark hair removing a shirt and putting it in a bag before walking out of view of the camera, which was inside a restaurant.

Of course, now we know that it wasn't a last minute arrest. The FBI was on him the entire time and allowed him to board the plane to see if he had friends on board. However, Dubai claims that THREE people were removed from that flight, not just the bombing suspect.
And the guy whose image has been shown to the entire world as a suspect apparently isn't.
Poor guy.

I’m not so sure all these terrorists come from any particular ME country....all of them grow these guys...but it sure looks like Pakistan has become the new traing and recruiting Aphganistan.
